A game the Detroit Lions must win against a team they will have to beat in order to really matter and be a true contender. This is the Lions coming out party in what will be a high scoring back-alley rumble between two old foes in the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions. The 19th time these two teams have played on Thanksgiving with the Lions winning 11 times. The Lions will take the undefeated 10-0 Packers in Detroit at Ford Field. Lions 48-34.

Miami Dolphins are hot with a defense that is playing inspired and I like them against Dallas. The Cowboys have proven through history that the big game is not where they belong and Tony Romo always gets hot around this time of year only to fizzle and drop one in a game that matters. This game means more to Miami than the Dallas Cowboys and I expect a big game from Reggie Bush although DeMarco Murray is playing great I'm taking the Dolphins. Dolphins 42-35.

Big brother versus little brother, old linebacker versus young linebacker, this game has so many elements of conflict it makes for a must watch. The upstart San Francisco 49ers have an intimidating defense and push teams around in the middle of the line of scrimmage. As do the Baltimore Ravens but I like the emergence of Kendall Hunter in the 49ers backfield and I like the 49ers at Baltimore. 49ers 31-28.
